Polaggia Jazz & Heritage Festival 2025 represented one of the most significant steps on the path that led to Jazztellina. Its widespread format, built around several spaces in the village, transformed Polaggia into a meeting place between music, landscape and local memory.
The day brought together different repertoires, from traditional jazz to swing sounds, with a strong focus on the community dimension. The squares became natural stages, welcoming musicians, audiences, volunteers and local organisations.
An important part of Jazztellina’s identity was born from that experience: not just a concert series, but a cultural project that uses jazz as a key to enhance places, relationships and Valtellina heritage.
